Implants – All-on-4 Implant Dentures

What is All-on-4?

Dentists and Prosthodontists have been making implant dentures for many years. The compromise between total cost and number of individual implants required to mechanically stabilize a Fixed Denture Prosthesis has now been calculated. It is 4 implants and therefore, all of the denture is fixed to 4 implants. There are always exceptions for example if a patient has soft bone and is a Bruxer (bites extremely heavily) six implants are often required

The Ultimate Hygienic Implant Denture System is both ‘fixed and removable’ and is called SynCone® 5°. This denture is made from either acrylic resin, internally reinforced with cast metal or Prettau Zirconia with aesthetic porcelain facings.

Download All-on-4 Implant DenturesAll-on-4 Implant Dentures are made from the Ultimate Hygienic and Aesthetic material – Prettau Zirconia with Porcelain facings. Made right here in Brisbane, Australia by Ceramist (Technician) Werner Sauer located on Park Road, Milton.

The contemporary implant dentures All-on-4 system is ‘fixed’, and only removable by the dentist making it far less hygienic than the ‘fixed and removable’ system that is SynCone® 5°.

Please view the PDF of the Ultimate Hygienic Implant Denture System. Take a look at the examples compiled below of the different processes and procedures.

The ULTIMATE implant prosthesis is called an “Implant Crown Pair Prosthesis”. This was designed by Dr Michael Darveniza and published in the Australian Dental Journal in 1995. click here
Implant crown pair prosthesis
The ULTIMATE implant prosthesis is called an “Implant Crown Pair Prosthesis”. This was designed by Dr Michael Darveniza and published in the Australian Dental Journal 1995. There are 10 implants in the upper arch and 10 in the lower arch. This is the ultimate alternative to implant dentures. However, it is only appropriate when the patient has NOT lost a lot of bone and gum from their jaw bone. An implant denture replaces gum and bone mass and hence supports the lips and cheeks. Splinting or pairing crowns is for strength and longevity purposes
Therefore there are 5 pairs of 2 implant crowns splinted together in the upper arch. The two front teeth are joined, followed by the lateral incisor and canine and the first premolar and first molar. Splinting or pairing crowns is for strength and longevity purposes. Please click the photo for further information.
